Uprootmap publishes a leftover-pay calculator and editorial guides so you can compare US metros for a household you describe. You may use the pages, share links that include your inputs, and quote short excerpts with a link back. That is the intended use.

You may not:

• Present leftover, rent, tax or moving figures as official government statistics, as a quote from a lender or landlord, or as tax, financial, legal, real-estate or moving advice.
• Scrape, bulk-download or republish the metro dataset, rankings or page copy in order to run a competing calculator or to train a model, beyond ordinary search-engine crawling.
• Overwhelm the service with automated requests, attempt to break into it, or interfere with ads or measurement that pays for the site.
• Use the site to send spam, to collect personal information about other people, or to misrepresent yourself as Uprootmap.

Every leftover figure, rent, tax line, moving-cost range and ranking is produced by a model from public datasets. Sources lag, tax rules change, and your situation has details no form captures. We do not warrant that anything on the site is accurate, complete or current. We may change or remove a figure at any time.

The methodology lists the datasets and the assumptions. Use leftover to decide which places are worth researching. Before you move, sign a lease, buy a home or change jobs, check real listings and real quotes.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uprootmap and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, that arises from using the site, relying on anything on it, or dealing with any company, person or site it links to. You use the site at your own risk. Where the law does not allow a limitation, it applies only as far as the law permits.

There are no accounts. Inputs you type live in the page address so a result is shareable. The privacy policy is the document for what is and is not collected. Advertising is served by Google; that policy explains the cookies.
